Mary Jean Marquez- Bio
Hello!

My name is Mary Jean Marquez. I am a mother of four beautiful talented daughters (24, 21, 19, and 10 yoa) and married to a fabulous man and best friend for 25 years, whom I love dearly. We are a family who is close and loving. We absolutely love animals and have adopted a total of seven energetic dogs and one super cute kitty!

My family and I have been members of our church, Abundant Living Faith Center in El Paso, TX, for 17 years. I have been involved with several ministries [MOPS-Mothers of Pre Schoolers, Hearts & Souls-Home family & women's Bible studies, Marriage-Teaching Before You Say I do & Building a Godly Marriage classes with my husband, Prayer Team, Greeter-Visitor Information...]

I have a love and passion to encourage and uplift Women to live their best lives. I believe that passion stems from my own hard life as a child and young woman. I have lived through much hurt and pain, but have come out victorious with God's help, and I live a fabulously blessed life in every way. My message is, that you can choose to make the changes necessary to live a full and blessed life. "We are not defined by our past mistakes or the mistakes and wrongs done to us by others!" ~MJM

I started a group called Women Uplifting Women in February of 2010 on fb, and women from around the world are a part of this fabulous group. My daughter's and I host a Women Uplifting Women monthly luncheon, where we gather to fellowship, network and listen to dynamic business Women in our El Paso, TX community.

I am currently working on some writings, blogging, and have been a guest writer for other blogs. I love to journal and have quite a collection of personal writings that I plan to turn into a memoir in the future.

Some of my speaking engagements include Child Rights Activist Betty Makoni UK Radio Show, MOPS-Mother's of Pre Schoolers, El Paso Women's Shelter, The Eastside Rotary Club, and Women Uplifting Women.

With sincere friendly Love! Be blessed!

Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another. 1Thessalonians 5:11
